Automated review responses for local businesses

Every Google review gets a quick, on-brand reply drafted by AI, and negative reviews wait for your approval before anything is posted.

The problem

Reviews keep arriving, and replying to each one is easy to put off. Tools that auto respond to Google reviews exist because unanswered reviews make a business look like nobody is paying attention, and prospective customers read the replies as closely as the reviews themselves.

A thoughtful reply to a negative review can calm a situation and show future customers how you handle problems, while silence lets the complaint stand on its own. But writing a careful reply takes time, and with steady review volume or several locations, it falls behind. The answer is fast drafts in your voice, with a person checking the replies that matter most.

How it works

How it works when you auto respond to Google reviews

  1. New reviews are detected

New reviews on your Google Business Profile are picked up automatically, shortly after they are posted. Every location you manage is watched, so nothing slips through on a busy weekend.

  2. AI drafts a reply

An AI model drafts a reply in your business's voice, referring to what the reviewer actually said rather than using a generic template.

  3. Approval where it matters

Positive replies can post automatically; negative ones wait for your approval, so you always decide what is said about a complaint.

  4. A weekly summary

You get a weekly summary of new reviews, replies sent and anything still waiting, by email or in Slack. The summary also highlights repeated themes, such as wait times or friendly staff, that are worth knowing about.

What it connects to

It connects your Google Business Profile to an AI model and to the place you already handle approvals. You can start with approvals on every reply and loosen it later.

  • Google Business Profile

Supplies new reviews and receives the published replies.

  • AI model

Drafts replies in your tone, following rules you set.

  • Email or Slack for approvals

Sends drafts for approval and lets you edit before posting.

Questions

Do replies post without my approval?

Only if you allow it. A common setup posts replies to positive reviews automatically and holds everything else for approval, but you can require approval for every reply, or for anything below a certain star rating.

How are negative reviews handled?

They are never answered automatically. You receive the review with a suggested reply, which you can edit, approve or replace. The drafts aim to acknowledge the concern and invite the customer to continue the conversation privately, without arguing or sharing details.

Can it match our tone?

Yes. During setup you provide examples of replies you like and rules to follow, such as how formal to be and whether to sign with a name. The drafts follow those, and you can adjust them as you go.

Does it work with multiple locations?

Yes. Each location's reviews can be handled separately, with its own sign-off and its own approver if you want, and the weekly summary can cover all of them together or each one on its own.
